Yeah was a good ride - have just put the pics up - one of rob and one of me covered in mud! (click here or visit the gallery page)

I had a rough day, felt awful on bike but no pain no gain.

Another note to add is there has been shed loads of anoying spam on the forum - I am working on this to stop the sods adding to it so sorry to add for this and will soon hopefully kill it all off!

Well it was a bit dull and damp on the way in this morning Frown, the BBC weather 5 day forecast had promised a nice bright sunny day, hum !.

Just four of us today i.e. Dave Po, Martin H, Tom K and myself. Our regulars Gerald and Gabby were not with us today i.e. they were having a lunch out to celebrate their wedding aniversary (apparently Ger has given Gabby the best twenty years of his life, also apparently Gabby thinks it's the other way round).

Anyway off we went on our jaunt towards Checkley and across to Woolhope, on the way towards Brockhampton I had a puncture (fixing punctures when everything is covered in mud and filth is not a nice experience). Onwards bound we went to Brockhampton and at this point the sun start to pock it's head out which was nice, Hoarwithy and out towards to Cottage Of Content, according to my map it was the 3rd turning on the left to Bolstone (we did'nt come across that 3rd turning so kept on bashing towards Cary and then did a left up towards Little Dewchurch where we were back on track, Aconbury Cross and up to Kingsthorne and then across the top of the Callow along the lanes to Belmont and back into Town.

Well that was a muddy old affair, some lovely bits of country side, we took it nice and steady as it would be a real hard route if you hit it too fast.

We all enjoyed that.

Bye for now,

Big Ring Wink

Hi Everyone,

This Saturday 27th February (i.e. this coming weekend) we have another "Saturday Morning Road Ride" starting at 10am from Climb-On-Bikes (i.e. a steady sociable ride followed by coffee back at Climb-On-Bikes).

This week’s ride is a nice 30 mile country route and the sun is supposed to shine (it's a nice scenic ride but a bit up and down, however we'll take it nice and steady to suit everyone) and a map of this can be found on the “Map My ” web site, i.e. please click on the following link :-http://www.mapmyride.com/route/gb/hereford/691126712473716495

So please come along and join in and be part of it.

Kind Regards,

Robin Jones (Climb-On-Bikes Cycling Club).

Email:- robin@jonesrobin3.wanadoo.co.uk

P.S. There's as usual a Sunday Morning ride going from Steels at 9am.
