sorry - was racing (running). Anyhow - if it's longer than an hour I don't think i could cope. Looking forward to coming out soon and getting re-educated in the ways of the long miles! |

I think it's a case of hide the razor blades for a few of us this weekend Everything seems to be against us at times does'nt it, anyway well done Captain B atleast you gave it a go, dont get too upset it's only bloody time trialling What we need is some sunshine and a dose of long steady rides , maybe a few Boys days out in the week sometime in the next month. Bye for now, Big Ring |

Well dave,i have an excuse for not being there,i was riding a two up at severn bridge 25 mile TT. However i have no real reason for calling it a two up as my body turned up but forgot to pack any energy !.Neil langdon had to fit a rear mirror to check i was there on every drag and i only went through half a dozen times to apoligise. I could bang on about long hours at work, not riding my bike a lot and being on a strange bike without time to check the set up for more than 15 minutes,so its either get selfish for the next four weeks and ride my bike ,or pack it in earlier than i usually do ,rather than wait to injury myself. I will tell you in four weeks ! well done to Neil who towed me around despite being full of cold and pills/drugs (he did rattle and is sponsored by boots the chemist !), I promise to stay away from cliff tops and high window ledges, Captian B. |

Well done to all of those who bothered to turn up. The climb on bikes club run was some what lacking in bodies today. Only 3 people turned up. Sonic, Ross & Gerald. We decided on a route which was something like this:- Madley, Kingstone, Peterchurch, Dorstone, Hardwick, Brewerdine, Mocus, Bridge Solars, Weobley, Kings Pyon, Bush Bank, Wellington, Sutton & Home! Started out abit rainy & blowy but soon brightened up. A really nice blast around the lanes. 60miles in the bag. Same on you for not turning up...... Sick notes in by tomorrow pm......except Robin, excuse accepted. Sonic Edited on 28th February 2010 03:12 PM

Hi Everyone, Normal Sunday ride from Steels at 9am. I wont be along as I'm suffering a bit of the Tim W man-flu, learnt my lesson in the past about bashing on when not feeling too good and living to regret it. Anyway Guys have a good morning and hope it's not too wet. Bye for now, Robin. |
