So nice to have sunny ride into town this morning Smilebut it was deceptively cold Surprised.

A good turn out of Climb-On riders today and only Ian Peake turned up from the Wheelers. Nice to have Paula back out with us and also our latest new member Jonty who's making a comeback to cycling and road racing, also good to see Simon back on the scene.

Anway Captain B had a plan and off we went (Sonic had a bit of a dodgy start in town Laughing, I'll let him explain). So it was Mordiford, Dormington, Trumpet, Ledbury, Eastnor, Holly Bush and boy did I have a bad patch going up there Frown, Corse Lawn where we started some through and off till we got just short of Newent, Newent, Dymock, Little Marcle, Trumpet at this point Jonty and myself were knackered and just eased off and let everyone go and we pottered on to Tarrington, I branched off here homeward bound whilst Jonty plodded on back to town.

I had a hard time today, the lack of miles and still recovering from man-flue paid it's toll and the legs started to complain. Next weekend I've got The Jodrell Bank Sportive and I'm now begining to panic a bit, I'll get round but it's always more fun if your not pasted into the ground.

Well done everyone Smile, especially well done to Paula Smileas that must have been one of the longest rides she's done since recently giving birth (mind you Guy's that's nothing compared to man-flue is it Laughing, I'm sure P' will have an answer to that !). Also Jonty wasn't going bad was he.

I clocked that at 104km (65 miles in old money) with an average of 19mph, well done Captain B that was a good route Smile.

Again some fine front end work by Dave (Sonic) and Ross (Rosco), well done Guys Wink.

Bye for now,

Big Ring Wink

Hi Everyone,

Well hopefully this weekend it'll be ice free and we can start cracking in some miles at long last.

Normal 9am start from Steels and I guess we'll think of an interesting route between us before we kick off, I'm sure Captain B or myself will come up with some options.

So there we go, grab your bike, stick a few quid in your back pocket just incase we stop for a coffee. Let's roll and get back at it Smileand drag some fitness back.

Bye for now,

Big RingWink
