Well what a cracking hot summers evening, just the job.

Tonight there were only three of us i.e. Tim W, Dave (DJ) Powell and myself, where's everyone else on such a lovely evening ?.

Anyway Tim fancied something not too long tonight and Dave suggested Weobley and back round, that was fine by us all and off we went i.e. Marden, Westhope, Bush Bank, Weobley, Yazor, Mansell Lacy, Brinsop, Tillington Common, left by The Bell Inn, Wellington, Marden and back to Sutton.

Tim was on form tonight at the sharp end, he was flying and us older gentlemen were dragged round nicely. I clocked 53km tonight and we averaged 19.25mph thanks to Timothy's sterling efforts.

Well done boys that was a good ride on a perfect evening, also some stunning views across to the Black Mountains.

Bye for now,

Big Ring Wink

Hi Guy's,

This Thursday 24th June an evening road ride for a couple of hours (that's providing it's not lashing down with rain !), i.e. 30 to 40 miles in distance on some nice country lanes.
The pace of these rides is around the 18mph average speed so a good level of cycling fitness is required to keep up, just so everyone knows it's not flat out fast but also it's not a novice pace.

Basically if your interested and fancy this meet at the Golden Cross Pub in Sutton St Nicholas at 6.30pm (the pub is in the centre of the village on the cross roads).

The evenings have now drawn but you may require some small lights for the ride home i.e. to be seen with.

Bye for now,

Robin.
