A nice bright start to the day but a beastie of a head wind on the Worcester Road riding into town.

A good turn out this morning 13 of us, i.e. myself, Dave (DJ) Powell, Janet H, Steve L, Toby L, Dave S, Mike G,Chris W, Martin G, Simon W, Brian T, John from Monmouth and Andy from Broad Oak.

I had a 37 mile nice rolling country lane route for today and off we went with Dave S and Mike G on the front out to Sutton, Eau Withington, Preston Wynne, Ullingswick, Much Cowarne, Bishops Frome and the nice little lane to Bromyard and up into the town (at this point Steve was not feeling good and decided to drop off i.e. too much work all week had paid it's toll !), Pencombe, Bodenham (at this point John was trying to adjust his computor sensor on the move and took a chunk out of his thumb !), Sutton and back towards town.

Some of us then headed back to Climb On Bikes for a coffee and a chat and found some plasters for John's thumb (basically he'd done a Ross Clayton but without being thrown over the bars).

Well done all Smile.

Bye for now,

Robin Wink

Hi Everyone,

This Saturday17th July (i.e. this coming weekend) we have another "Saturday Morning Road Ride" starting at 10am from Climb-On-Bikes (i.e. a steady sociable ride followed by coffee back at Climb-On-Bikes).

This weeks ride will be a nice country lane route i.e. around the 35 mile distance, I'll sort a route out just now. Not sure what the weather's going to be like and this aspect may dictate on the day where we go, hopefully it'll be dry.

So please come along and join in and be part of it.

Kind Regards,

Robin Jones (Climb-On-Bikes Cycling Club).
